A Cold Day in July…
It’s a cold day in July. Again. I’m starting to wonder if global warming is a rumor. I don’t ever remember it being this cold in Chicago in July. Usually it’s so hot that it’s almost impossible to be outside at all. While it’s true that there are certain benefits to this unseasonably cool weather (like not needing the A/C all the time and how wonderful it is to sleep with a cool breeze) there are also some serious wardrobe dilemmas that come with that wonderful cool breeze. Like not wanting to throw on the same sweater you wore all winter just because the temperature has dipped below 65 degrees. Or the same lightweight leather jacket you’re going to be wearing all through the fall. It’s time for summer layering pieces. Unfortunately I don’t really have any. So I’m shopping.
