The legs are wide enough to give a long, lean look without being too trousery or floppy. And the embellishment on the rear pockets is totally butt-beautifying. Trust me on this one.

The styles are diverse so that all my jeans look different and I don’t feel (or look) like I’m wearing the same thing every single day. My most recent acquisition was a pair of wider legged trouser cut jeans. The cut is a bit dressier so they work beautifully with pieces that don’t always look good with low rise jeans. I’ve been wearing mine with an empire waist blouse and shrunken blazer and have gotten tons of compliments. Fabulous with heels!

It’s the year of the skinny jean. I actually kind of like the look; it’s a nice change after season upon season of boot legs. Like most extreme trends, I doubt it will have much staying power and for that reason I generally don’t invest a lot of money to stay up to the minute.
