Since they don’t have a ’season’ or any connection to Martin Luther King or any past presidents, but this is a great time of year to shop for rugs.

It might be a natural extension of the traditional ‘winter white sales’, which are bigger now than ever before. It’s great timing, though. Because now’s actually the time that you might find yourself thinking about a new rug. It’s freezing cold. It’s dark before 5. It’s time to stay home. And the more you stay home – the more you look around your home and think about the things that don’t look so great anymore…..

I picked up a new area rug for my living room not too long ago – and it so enhanced the look of the entire space that I’m now shopping for something wonderful for the dining room.

There are great bargains to be found online. Expect to save as much as 50% to 60%, but you might get lucky and save even more. My super savvy sister recently snagged a $700 rug for just over $100. That’s a savings of OVER 85% and that’s what we like to call super savvy shopping!

I really need a new area rug for my living room. The rug I have is way too small and also just not the right look. It wasn’t a terribly expensive or good rug and I’ve had it for more than a few years, so replacing it is no great loss. I’ve given it a lot of thought and decided to bite the bullet and get a really great rug this time. Something that I can keep forever, or for a really long time. I love the selection and prices on fine Oriental and Persian carpets at Rug Man. They’ve got a huge sale happening right now and, of course, I’ve found some great discount coupon codes.
