It’s a great way to build up a terrific wardrobe for the eyes. Sunglasses are one two all time favorite accessories. A terrific pair of shades and a fabulous silk scarf (Hermes, of course) draped around the handle of my bag and it really does not matter what else I’m wearing. I’m well dressed.

Did you know that the sunglass department in most major department store is actually not part of that store at all? It’s true. At Macy’s the sunglass department is actually leased out to Sunglass Hut. I mention this for a couple of reasons. First of all, if you are looking for a specific pair of sunglasses that’s out of stock in your local department store, now that you know the truth, you have an idea of where to look online or bricks and mortar. Second, many top designers don’t allow their complete line of sunglasses to be sold in the department stores.
